If anything, Norway stands above all its European neighbors, is for its spectacular nature, still in almost wild. Big mountains, stunning fjords, ancient glaciers moving over 2,500 miles of coastline, the snow in Lapland, the Midnight Sun, Aurora Borealis, and the North Cape, are examples. To really enjoy, combining adventure, adrenaline, and some sports, but for the whole family, we have a long list of outstanding safaris that can be done in different regions and different seasons, depending on where and when we meet. Here we show a selection of the best, those you can not miss.
Andenes Whale safari
Perhaps one of the most spectacular that we can do in Norway. The sighting of whales and fin whales, among many other species is warranted, from 25 May to 15 September, and only cancels out when bad weather makes it inadvisable for passengers. The famous orca, or killer whale is also visible, but for this we have to travel to the Lofoten Islands and Vesterålen in winter, from November only. A unique experience in life.
King Crab Safari
Always combined with other activities like snowmobiles and bathrooms with special clothing in the icy waters of the Barents Sea, if done in winter, or search with boats at sea if done in summer, and in both cases, if concludes with a spectacular feast based on the exquisite flesh of this crustacean.
